How to change the default zoom level when Starting a New Document in CorelDRAW 2021? Currently new documents open to a zoom level of 76%. I would like new documents to open zoomed to 96% or zoomed ‘To Height’.
If "Zoom to Height" is satisfactory to you, then you might use CorelDRAW's regular workspace customization to assign a keyboard shortcut to that Command. That would get you down to only having to use a single keystroke to get the zoom you want.
As an alternative, you could look at my Zoom to Selection Plus macro. That includes a sub that allows one to "zoom to page", but with a user-defined amount of "padding".
That could give you a "zoom to page" that doesn't waste any of the available space in the drawing area in CorelDRAW. As with any CorelDRAW Command, that sub could have a keyboard shortcut assigned to it to make it a one-click tool.
Wow! That works! I assigned shortcut key 'Q' (first custom shortcut key) and now pressing Q gets me to Page Height. Thanks for taking the time to share and respond.
Turns out, you suggestion is the most useful because repeatedly on a project, I want to zoom to max page size and the assigned shortcut key Q is right where my hand rest when I want to see the whole page as big as possible. Thanks again!

I'm glad that works for you!
As I noted in an earlier post, you could also get the "zoom to max page size" capability using one of the subs in my Zoom to Selection Plus macro, and you could assign a keyboard shortcut to that sub.
The advantages of using that are that (1) it works for both portrait and landscape orientation and (2) you can specify how much "padding" is used when zooming to fit the page. You would only need to set that up once; after that it would use that setting when using your one-click zoom to page.
