I have done a job twice now and saved it to my memory stick the second time luckily as it didn't save in Coreldraw again. I would've lost hours of work. What has happened, is it something i've unwittingly altered. I need it fixed please.
There is a bug in coreldraw and nobody not understanding me. when you save the file while in powerclip mode... it shows you that it saved when you noticed the save icon. but when you close the file and try to reopen then there is no data but file opens. only empty document opens. but when you are out of powerclip and save... then it saves.
been saying here, its a bug, but nobody taken care
I gave it a few tries but it didn't happen here.Maybe there's more to it than just saving while being in PowerClip editing mode?CorelDRAW build 24.5.0.731 (September release).
It shows in the desktop, if i save the file while in powerclip mode.

see the same file
Check the File Size.
Not sure what I'm supposed to see, pkg_sriram.If I download and open your file, I can see a white rectangle that is an empty powerclip container, and it looks the same as the thumbnail preview. Is there supposed to be anything more?If I create a powerclip and then save while editing the objects inside the clip, the file is properly saved and looks exactly as expected when reopened.
One thing that puzzles me is that if I open your file, move the object slightly and then save, the file size drops from 1.97 MB to only 14.6 kB.Your file seems to contain 4 objects (according to the file's information) but I can only see the empty powerclip rectangle. So you are probably correct about missing objects, the question is how you managed to make it happen?
There is an image inside the powerclip that'swhy it is 1.97mb. it got that size when i used the command save.. while i was in powerclip mode. i will show the video file.
