Hello ALL,i am running Corel Draw 24 and I am trying to open a specific file I designed last week.Everytime I say open file, when it finally opens it takes approx. 5 seconds and then all of corel draw shuts down.I opened another corel file I designed last week and it seems to be ok and corel stays open. What would be causing this?need help asap as this specific file is approved by customer and I need to send it to print.
I had the exact same issue but before trying next item what is your graphics resolution? My Dell laptop is supposed to do 4k but since switching to 1920x1080 it is more stable and may have been the issue. I had ended up doing a complete uninstall using Revo uninstaller I downloaded from Ninite. com and new install worked but as mentioned it is now running at the lower resolution.
I uninstalled corel and then re-installed. I even updated my Font Expert program and still doing the same.
I can open a file that has no fonts. As soon as I try to open a file with fonts in it, it crashes and locks up.
This corel community is pretty slow in responding. Where is all the supposed EXPERT help on this site?
very frustrated!
first off I want to say...This corel community sucks!! the responses i did get, well, thank you!
I would have liked to see a lot more replies. I did figure tis out.
Here is what corel support had me do...
