Change Color of a Line

To change a line color, I go to the Pen icon => Select Outline Color => Scroll down the Color Selection list => Select Color => Select OK.

Isn't there a faster way? I guess Shift-F12 is just as fast as selecting the icon, but then more steps.

==> Why isn't line color connected to the spectrum of color blocks in the Corel side window? Why can't I simply select a line and then select a color from the color blocks? That seems stupidly intuitive.

Tks.
