Hello, I have the little line (shape, fill) as shown in the attachment here.
I can't see any error in the nodes (at the left). It's correct when I zoom in certain factors (middle). And it exports like that in Photoshop.
But when I activate the overprint view and zoom, in some (not all) zoom factors there is like an artefact. At the right in the image. And most interesting: exactly this is also exported then as (high resolution) PNG.
Why does Corel change the shape in the zoom and especially in the PNG ? (while Photoshop does not)
Can I somehow find a solution so that Corel just exports the shapes as they are really?
Thank you.
Please post a link to your file so I can download and test it.
thank you. I tested this with my 2019 version and it displays and exports fine as PNG, without the shown artefact. So this is either something about 2023 or about the 2023 SE that I own.
I just posted this as I hoped that other users have seen such a thing before and there is a workaround. As this is working in 2019 then I will use 2019 for export, but perhaps there are some hints how to use the PNG export in a optimal way in 2023 (SE).
Can I perhaps use the file (dll?) for the PNG export of 2019 and copy it to 2023 folders?

Possible, but most likely not. Please do what David asked for and upload a test file.(You have to ZIP the CDR to upload it here)
4382.test0.zip
ok thank you, I did not know this about the zip.
Here I uploaded an example. This two shapes are just normal in most of the zoom factors, but not all :).
But most important, the PNG export is wrong (in 2023 and 2024). But it is fine in 2019 (when you save this for 2019). And the PNG export is also fine from Photoshop.
Of course I would like to make the PNG export correct, and I would like to know why 2023 changes this shape while the other tools don't?
What resolution do you export the PNG at?
In this example you can just set to not change the size and don't export the canvas.
The lines were in a larger image, so it's normal that the export size would be not a too big size.
But the thing is, it's already visible in the preview :).
If I export to SVG there is no change on my system. If I export to PNG as long as I choose 600 DPI or higher there is no change.
Ay lower resolution I see the issue that you see. I may have 2019 laying around somewhere to test.
Thank you, yes my task would be to export a PNG as the best pixel file option. I don't have the 600dpi option at PNG, is this new in 2024 or perhaps because of my SE in 2023?
What the hell is the SE edition?
I use the Subscription Version of all the software and the export dialogs in for PNG all have a resolution setting and have as long as the export dialog has existed.
ok I found that I can enter the dpi manually, is this the case in your version also?
(I have an resolution option, but can only choose up tp 300dpi, but can enter manually as I learned now)
SE means Special Edition, just a version of CorelDraw.
