Hello, I have the little line (shape, fill) as shown in the attachment here.
I can't see any error in the nodes (at the left). It's correct when I zoom in certain factors (middle). And it exports like that in Photoshop.
But when I activate the overprint view and zoom, in some (not all) zoom factors there is like an artefact. At the right in the image. And most interesting: exactly this is also exported then as (high resolution) PNG.
Why does Corel change the shape in the zoom and especially in the PNG ? (while Photoshop does not)
Can I somehow find a solution so that Corel just exports the shapes as they are really?
Thank you.
Please post a link to your file so I can download and test it.
thank you. I tested this with my 2019 version and it displays and exports fine as PNG, without the shown artefact. So this is either something about 2023 or about the 2023 SE that I own.
I just posted this as I hoped that other users have seen such a thing before and there is a workaround. As this is working in 2019 then I will use 2019 for export, but perhaps there are some hints how to use the PNG export in a optimal way in 2023 (SE).
I used the trial of the Corel 2024 Suite, and there is also this error.
So it does not depend on the SE and not on the 2023, but it seems that somehow 2024, 2023 and maybe before, the export of PNG lost a bit of precision. In my 2019 Suite it works still like in Photoshop (no change of the shape in zoom or PNG export).
This must have been noticed before?
Can I perhaps use the file (dll?) for the PNG export of 2019 and copy it to 2023 folders?

Possible, but most likely not. Please do what David asked for and upload a test file.(You have to ZIP the CDR to upload it here)
In the meantime I am proud owner of a normal full version of CorelDraw :). I chose 2023 as I had used 2023 SE now for a while and made many customizations and wanted to be sure it works. And it works.
But the export of the PNG (example file above) is just as in the SE and as you also had seen.
So my question is only: is there perhaps any add-on, macro possibility, (change a file in the Corel folder) to implement another PNG export? I am no developer and have zero knowledge about this if it is possible perhaps to customize the file export function of CorelDraw.
At the moment I have to choose Illustrator and Photoshop to make good pixel exports, but I would like to use CorelDraw there, too.
In my experience, Draw does a pretty good job exporting to various formats, but unfortunately there seems to be some kind of bug that affects the specific kind of objects you are working with.I doubt you can find and add other export filters so if this is a huge problem for you, either save back to version 2019 and export from there when this problem appears, or try to find a workaround inside Draw 2023.Maybe temporarily upscale the objects before converting/exporting, or something like that?It may be fixed in a future version but no one knows when, or even if.
