Are you getting any specific error message? Can you share more details about your configuration so that we can try to reproduce the problem?

I have the same problem. It worked yesterday and then today I tried to start CorelDraw 2017 and as soon as you see the little screen where it says that it is initizing, a message comes up that says that the app has stopped working and needs to close and that Windows will check for a solution. The same thing happens with CorelPhotoPaint 2017 and CorelFontManager 2017. Corel Capture did start.
In the event viewer, it shows this

The problem occurs almost as soon as you click to start the program.
I have X7 and X8 and both of them work.

Yes Gerard " CorelDraw 2017 (64) has stopped working"
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is
available..... But no other notifications.

I have the same problem. CDR2017 fails to start the day after install. Uninstall reinstall does not fix the problem. I had previous done a Windows 10 disk backup after I had installed CDR2017. Restoring the Windows 10 backup and then run CDR2017 the program opens fine and I can use it. However if I shutdown and reboot Windows and try to run CDR2017 it fail top start...there in-lies the problem I cannot keep re-installing a Win10 backup just to use CDR2017. The problem is persistent.
CDRX8 is installed and runs perfectly fine irregardless if CDR2017 does not start.
CDR2107 is not ready to use as a production suite. This needs to be address sooner than later.

britepencil2, is this something that you have experienced over the last couple of days?
What is the error you are receiving?
If the error you are seeing is a crash on launch, specifically over the past two days, there is a possible solution to your issue posted here: http://community.coreldraw.com/talk/coreldraw_graphics_suite_x8/f/832/p/55232/264991#264991
If this is not what you are experiencing, please provide more details or email me directly: sharon.potts@corel.com.
