here is what I'm trying to do.
I have a scanned guest pass that is 2 color. The pass is in jpg format. although i can put it in any format necessary.
I need to change the "800" numbers on the pass. To the new number.
is it possible to remove them( numbers) and replace them, while keeping the background of the pass the same. if that make sense. I have Corel 6.
thanks,
Use a small clone tool instead of a brush.

Hi CRP,
another "possibility", but how possible I cannot tell without seeing your image, is careful use of the Dust & Scratch Removal tool. You would mask (select) one numeral at a time and then play with the settings until the number vanished. I have had this tool work wonders in Photo-Paint, including removing text from images. I was once going to make a post in the Newsgroups about this very feature and never got around to it.
Best regards,
