cutting line for silhoutte cameo

hi..need help for my cut and print project, anyone here who knows how to make a cutting line in an image for cut and print in silhouute cameo

Hello oloiz; I don't know anything about silhouute cameo but you could try grouping your drawing and do a Contour around it, then braking it apart if needed and weld the out line if you have more than one out line. Color it as the program needs.

You can use exported raster graphics from CorelDRAW (e.g. PNG, JPG, TIF)...then you use the Silhouette Studio to trace for cut lines.

If you want to use vector graphics directly from CorelDRAW you will need an additional plug-in software called "Silhouette Connect" (this is in addition to the standard Studio software)

I don't know of any other software -- if you want to work directly from CorelDRAW you will need to purchase the Silhouette Connect plug-in I mentioned in my previous post. Read the info in the Overview there.

Its the manual for the software that Patti mentioned and seems fairly easy to follow, though I haven't studied it in detail. But at a quick glance, an easy way to do it is to make your cut lines as vector objects on a separate layer and configure the software to recognise it. Or you can configure a particular colour to represent your cut line, but that could do unexpected cuts if your design also contains that colour and there is the risk of not getting cuts if colour management changes the colours before they reach the cuttting software. So my guess is that the layer method would be safer.
