PDF not printing accurately in CorelDrawX6

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and am not a very sophisticated CorelDraw user. I have created a simple, specialty ruler with graduation marks which need to be printed. When I print directly from X6 on my Epson printer the graduations are exact. However, when I "Save As" or "Publish to" PDF and print on the same printer, the graduations are out of position by as much as 1/16". I need to digitally printed prototypes for a tradeshow at FedEx and Staples and they only accept a PDF. I want to be certain the printing will be correct before spending the money to print. I am using CorelDrawX6 version 16.4.1.1281.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

  • Hi Mike,

Thank you so much. That fixed it. I assumed it was something simple.

I use Nitro Reader for my PDF and it was defaulted to 97% size. Since it’s is a printing issue rather than a save as PDF issue; when I prepare my file for digital printing, should I use “collect for output”, “save to PDF” or “Publish to PDF” or doesn’t it matter?

Would you think FedEx or Staples automatically scale the PDF to 100%?

    Thanks again Mike.
