HI everyone
I'm new to the forum and have the following error, I've downloaded the trail version of CorelDraw x6 (64-bit) for Windows 7.
After installation when launching the program the splash screen appears and shortly after that a message box with Error 1 stated try reboot or reinstall the program.
Done that 100 times already with no luck, I've been reading about this error for some time now on the net and there seems to be no solution.
I would appreciate any information regarding this error or problem

Hello Willemi; If you haven't been able to use X6 since you installed it, try holding down the F8 key while starting Corel. The F8 key is a reset For Corel it will reset the program to a Fresh install for you.....I think I would go back and down load the X7 Trial, it is the newest out and it has Font Imbedding which X6 doesn't have. That's a BIg Pluss for me.

Well Willemj; You could go into Windows where you would Uninstall the program And you will will see Modify, Repair, Uninstall the program, you can pick Modify or Repair and that will HELP you most of the time. There is a difference between X6 and X7 for one thing there is one year less on the renew program. and X6 does not have font imbedding as X7 does. Which is a biggie for me.You want to get going asap because you only have 30 days from the time you load it to make up your mind then it will not print or save your files............
