I can't get the Corel X6 Home and Student Version to open?

I got new Dell Inspiron computer that came with Windows 8.

I got the invite to upgrade to Windows 10 so I did.

I loaded in the software Corel Draw X6 home and student with Windows 10 and I can't get the app to open.

The app says loading but nothing happens and the mouse freezes.

Can someone please help as it is greatly appreciated.

X6 version works on windows 10. I know I have it installed as well as X7. Now home and student should work too if it's a X6 version. Maybe if you can share how you install. is it a download link version. is it a dvd. Give us a bit more info.

other than that, try install again. But before you do it, see to that no previous folders called X6 are installed. and so forth. and then try again.

Yes it is a DVD. The install went fine without any errors.
Perhaps maybe turn off Internet Security products when installing?

Computer logged off over night and tried opening the app after I left my last reply.
It is working now.
