How to customize toolbar in X7?

Good day! Im using CorelDraw X7 and trying to customize default toolbar. Im clicking on toolbar right mouse button, select Customize -> Standard toolbar -> Properties... The toolbar properties window is appear. I do remember the time when I drag and drop icons AWAY FROM toolbar to delete them and from the list TO toolbar to add them. Now I can do almost nothing.

I cant  catch the button from toolbar to throw it away (but I can right click and select Customize -> Toolbar item -> Delete). And also I cant select and drag the button from the toolbar properties window list to the tollbar. In both case buttons are not draggable. How to customize this toolbars now?

  • Hello newfriend; If you hold down the Ctrl key while dragging a toll from the menu or tool bar That will remove it from the bar. The go to Tools on the menu and select Options then go two where the screen shot below is showing and drag and drop what you want.

    • I cant! I click the button and its not drugging! I used to try at my work and at home PC. Button cant be moved over toolpannel and cant be moved from the list. Have you try it?

      • newfriend the red circle is around the Commands and if clicked on it will open as shown above, It is the column to the right that has the icons that are Dragged to a menu or tool bar. It is how Corel has let people add commands for years, and it works very well.

I record how I try to add and remove button with no success. If you can do it, please, record your own video for proof. Thanks

          • It's hard to tell what you are clicking on in your video, try doing it as the screen shot below. And in my first post I said hold down the Ctrl. key, but it's the Alt. key that should be held down to drag something out of a menu bar.

Then to where the first screen shot shows, don't for get to unlock the tool bars.

            • Have you try it? Can you add or remove button from the tool in your CorelDraw X7? Can you?  Here I showing how do I use mouse with clicking to add button and nothing happens. Please, instead of posting next picture, record the video or post the link of someone else video with customizing CorelDRAW X7 (not X6 or else) toolbar. Thanks.
