There's already a checkbox for opening zoom, but what about opening window state?
I noticed that the first document I open or create is always windowed instead of maximized. Personally, I like to keep everything maximized, so it would be nice if I didn't have to actually click the button every time.
I realize this is a lazy request, but isn't that the whole point of software? To be lazy?
Corel's really great at letting me be lazy by being so intuitive, but please... help me be more lazy!
That you can do now...
Shortcut / Properties
Run = Maximized
(If that is what you mean)

No, no, no! I'm not talking about Windows. I'm talking about within Corel PHOTO-PAINT! When you create a new document or open a file. But it only happens on the first document you open or create. CorelDRAW behaves the way I am requesting. That is, the first document you open always starts off maximized.
What is with all these MacroMonster posts? Are you people hired to post on here with MacroMonster macros every day or something? Because I have zero interest in macros and 100% interest in improving Corel products "out of the box."
I'm not looking for workarounds either, but solutions!

macromonster.com has over 90 items there, about half are free. Every item there was created to solve real problems or enhance CorelDRAW/PP. If Corel doesn't do this stuff for whatever reason, then is macromonster.com "the bad guys"? Nah. We feel the future of CorelDRAW might highly depend on macros.
There're solutions at the site that I've wanted in CorelDRAW for 6-10 years. Instead of waiting and hoping, I can contact a developer or code the macro myself. Sometimes, within a single day, my dream can come true. Examples of some commercial ones:
That's only 4 macros, out of lots more...
we release amazing things in hours/days/weeks. CorelDRAW is released every 2 years or so...
Ever wanted to make charts in CorelDRAW? Here's a macro that does it. Is the developer of this macro a "disloyal user" because he got tired of waiting for something official from Corel during the last decade?
That's pretty awesome! I must admit. I need to look more into macros.
What ever happened to CorelCHART?

That's what I was hoping to hear. :-)
Remember that Corel added VBA to CorelDRAW/PP for the benefit of the users, not for themselves. They pay licensing fees to Microsoft for it. That's the main reason VBA was pulled from many academic versions of the suite - to help reduce costs.
When we buy the suite now, we're paying for VBA as a feature as part of the overall price. Only in the last few years has the community really noticed the possibilities, even though VBA came in for Ver 9 about 10 years ago.
