Hi Mr. Corel,
Hi Mr. Corel,I don't expect you to add features to Photopaint since only a few people in the universe use it.However, I do recommend that you drop back to version 6 so that CPT thumbnails will be present for us old timers.
In case, you want to add features I would recommend:1. A tool such as the Quick Selection Tool in Photoshop.2. Content Aware Fill as in Photoshop3. Remove the Shell Extension as Photoshop did.3. Make the CPT format public as Photoshop did so that Mystic Thumbs can create the thumbnails .
Phil
So it's not Adobes fault that they don't care about a Windows preview for PSD files?
It's not your fault that you installed something that was not compatible>
It's Corels fault because they don't want to give away the file format they own!
Ok Phil can I have your house?
In general, I agree that the Mac OS is nice from a user's perspective.

The Preview App really doesn't like to faithfully represent most any print-ready PDF I make if there are spot colors, transparency, etc. But that's the only exception I have seen.
Apple does a lot of things right. Want to sell an application for the Mac OS? Conform to a set of absolute specs/requirements. That's a good thing. I look at Macs as having "refined sensibilities." Whereas Windows has always reflected the Wild Wild West sort of thing. It's been changing ever so slowly, but there really hasn't been a determination on MS' part to get there anytime soon.
I'm not sure it's as cut and dry as you say. My son would disagree, according to him many of his apps for his Apple devices just do not perform as expected.
On my Windows 7 systems every application I ever installed works, every piece of new hardware installs automatically, my Windows phone is just wonderful, it's not perfect but I can run 95% of my business on it while on the road.
Now for those free apps from the stores, I like to think I'm smart enough not to install them.
