There's so much obsolete, useless und cumbersome functionality in CorelDRAW Graphics suite. Can you please revise all the old functionality and bring it to up-to-date standards?
Examples:
(a) CorelDRAW patterns: Why is the result so much diverging from the original?
(b) PhotoPAINT mesh: Why is it impossible to zoom into the selected area? Why aren't you providing something like the PhotoShop Liquid filter?
(c) PhotoPAINT masks: Why isn't there an undo functionality for added mask points while creating a free mask?
(d) CorelDRAW patterns #2: Why on earth is 25.4 mm * 2.54 mm the smallest pattern size?
(e) CorelDRAW patterns #3: Why is there always a glitch for 20 years now when rendering a pattern (or converting it into a bitmap)?
(f) PhotoPAINT: Why does the File Save dialog always display a text field as if it had focus - when it actually hasn't?
First off I use the application for professional output in digital print, traditional print, CAD interfacing and professional color correction and signs of all types. The PDF export support for transparency is now better than Adobe in many RIPS, LAB color support, sign specific features used for mockups (image straightening) and the effects in that dialog, industry compatible color management, Open type support, N color space transparency, smart carver and cut out lab.
Just took a couple seconds to list just a few, I don't use supplied fills or wizard type features.
Nah that's a 10 second list, I do engraving, large/grand format printing all kinds of stuff, I never used the fills as they always were limited in the scope of what was need for my clients.
Phil I've said this 1000 times PP is an image editing utility for CorelDRAW IMO that is all it's intended to be. It provides the LAB, N color and postscript raster support CorelDRAW requires for proper output. Corel would be stupid to make it compete with Painter and Paintshop Pro.
CorelDRAW continues marching forward with professional features, in many cases forsaking the hobbies feature set it used to support.
