Hi Mr. Corel,

KEEP THE EXIF DATA FOR ALL FILE FORMATS !

I'm sick and tired of being constantly told to include the EXIF by other photographers on most photography sites.

Why has Corel gone out of the way to remove the EXIF data. I seem to remember its presence in earlier versions.

What's the big deal. It's not as hard as fixing crashes and bugs.

And image editing app that does not preserve EXIF data should not be used by photographers. Period...

I embed copyright info in mine, I also use a lot of the info included within the EXIF data.

As I dont use PP maybe you should detail what the problem is Phil? Does PP strip all EXIF data when saving a file? I wouldn't expect Draw to retain it for embedded photos but PP should.

Hi Hywell,

The EXIF data disappears when using SAVE or SAVE AS. However, I keep the original file so I can always look it up.

I'm stuck with both Photopaint and Photoshop.
I can't seem to learn keyboard shortcuts. So I use 7 homemade toolbars and 48 icons for tools, dialogs, dockers, etc. in Photopaint.
I use Photoshop constantly for Content Aware Fill. I like Liquify, Puppet Warp, and the Selection tools in Photoshop.

Can you recommend any other photo application that has the full array of dialogs such as layers, layer masks, Lab Curves, an Interactive Gradient tool, Paint on Mask, etc.

Why not Photoshop? It doesn't mess with EXIF data. I principally use it to remove lens distortion and correct perspective, along with a bit of image enhancement, principally, LEvels, Shadow & Highlight etc.

Hi, Phil. I don't understand why do you repeat the same subject under several post. Did you believe that this will make it more popular? Also, you don't need to use text bigger and bigger and bold in order to demonstrate your deire. If all we use big text, if all we writes on uppercase, if all we compate for use the biggest text as possible, this forum will become unreadable. Hi Hywell,
I like the tools and dialogs in Photoshop. They are far ahead of Photopaint.

My problem is that I can't learn keyboard shortcuts. Neither can I read the tiny top level menu in Photoshop.
Photopaint makes my life easier. I have 7 home made toolbars and 48 icons or tools, dialogs, dockers, etc.

Then again, perhaps it's old age. I can't switch after using Photopaint since version 5.
