Urgent matter with Corel X7!!
use mesh fill tool then clear it back...
I used the mesh tool but how do you clear it back?
Can you list the operation in sequence?
Thanks,
Paul

on a enveloped object, select mesh fill tool (you may see clear/remove mesh is grayed out)
just add a grid or row (either vertical or horizontal)
then you can click the clear/ remove button
PS : it's work on perspective object too..
You can also click the smart fill tool to the enveloped object to edit the nodes with the shape tool.
Here is three methods to trick out the software commands to get around convert curves when it is inactive.
Cannot convert curves when I select an object that is made into an envelope with shape tool.Convert to curves is not working when I select the object when I made it into an envelop. I want to convert it to curves using the convert to curves tool but it appears to be grayed out not usable. Is there a setting to make it active to edit object that are made into a envelop using the envelope tool? Here are some solutions:
SHOW us a video capture of these actions please.
1. This is not practical if there are many small objects.
2. this still does not work, you cannot apply a mesh fill to an enveloped or perspective distorted object.
Please disregard all my email in regards to this issue:
Its been resolved with the today's Corel Team Update!
Thank you very much for fixing this issue!
Thanks Ronny for the reminder, Its really a big improvement now that I can move forward and get my work done without any worries.
1. I would like to see a Duplicate center line. Last seen was in Corel 13. User can draw a line and then click on convert outline to object leaving a duplicate line or curve. You could leave it or delete. Corel 7 removed this feature.
2. Also Corel 7 removed edit Underline text feature. You cannot adjust between underline spacing and the text. Last seen was in Corel 13.
3. Preview Blue move text object was removed. Although you can change a registry to enable it. Last seen was in Corel 13.
You're welcome Paul.
1. The original line will be kept if you add a fill to the line before converting outline to object. This is a logical enhancement made on user requests: No fill, remove the original object. If there is a fill, keep it (open or closed object, it doesn't matter).
2. I haven't checked but I remember some people were complaining about it being removed.
3. The blue preview was removed in favor of a true text preview in X5, I think (?).You can, if you like, edit Registry to remove Live Preview, just as you said.If all you want is to be able to see where the original position of the text was, while moving, there is a rather simple workaround:While dragging the text, click the right mouse button to create a copy. This will make the original stay in place while moving. Then, just before you let go of the text you're moving, right click once more to get rid of the copy.
