I am a Web and Graphic designer. I am purchasing X7 this evening as a possible replacement for the Adobe Creative Suite. I have always enjoyed Corel products. And the community seems pretty active. So when I discovered there was only one post under the web designer forum I figured I must have missed something. Is there another thread for it here other than the specific web designer link in the footer of this site?

I have been in the web business for many many years and have hundreds of sites on my servers from simple sites to highly interactive ones. I prefer Draw to the Adobe suite for most of the creative layout/work here but you do need both. I use DW loaded with plug ins daily.
For professional purposes you don't want to use Website Creator. Not to be miss understood I love the Draw suite and use it daily to create "pieces" for the web only, not the actual site. I think if you get it going and play with it for a while you will see what I am talking about.
Humm. Thats a bit of disappointing news. But I do thank you for your quick reply Bob. Was hoping to have an alternative for web design as well. I have been trying the trial version of the web designer. I did find it to be pretty clunky. Thought maybe I had just grown too use to DW.

Draw is excellent for "web design", not web creation. I do most of my storyboards and preliminary layouts for the web in Draw. Then it's off to DW with the pieces.
I find Draw for what I do better than Illustrator and like PS better than PP but that's just me.
