HiWhen using the corel capture on the web is it legal or is it an infringement committed
I would say it depends more on what you intend to do with the image after you've captured it.
If you are making one copy for personal use, and not putting it in a public place, then nobody will know and it is unlikely they would object even if they found out, though they could ask you to destroy it.
If you are using it as part of a design, then it makes no difference whether you captured it from the web or obtained it by some other means -- making multiple copies of anything, or using it for a business purpose, requires permission from the owner. That does not change whether you copy it using Capture or paint it in oils etc.
But as far as I'm aware, unless the copy is used in a derogatory manner or for a business purpose, only Disney is likely to prosecute for a single copy infringement.

I have to admit I like carving this is another hobby of mine can't help it some timeI do pinch a picture or two just for my own use
Interesting to know of the drag and dropbut would the other party know that you have done that operation
I don't think it would know.
When your browser first visits the site, the browser will download the image to display on the page. The site you download it from would log your IP address for its statistics, but that is exactly the same as anybody else visiting the site.
When you drag and drop into a program, the browser already has the image and would serve it from memory or the browser cache -- so the site would probably not know about the second access.
I just tried that drag and drop but all I got was writing which I deleted immediatelybut what about the capture operation is it safe meaning I wouldn't like to catch something nasty
Giulio Having someone know that you are coping Something is not a Worry. You can use Corel Capture or you can use the computers capture screen by pressing the Print Screen key then use the Ctrl+V short cut to post it in draw if that's where you want it.
Have Fun, Don't Worry, George
