Hi all,
I'm seeking a template for printable discs (CD and DVD) in a Canon Pixma iP4700 printer. Anyone know where i might find one?
Alternatively, I do have a template I used to use in Adobe InDesign, saved in both CS2 and CS5 formats. Can anyone help me with importing it into CD X7? Tricky bit is, I don't currently have access to Adobe software, to save it into any interim formats that might ease the transition.
Thanks for any help.
Have you checked the Support section of the Canon web site? They may have a template/utility to help you print onto CD disks.

Hi Hugh,
Yep, did that before posting here. Also e.mailed Canon directly, but they said it was up to users to offer these things. (Not sure why -- it's their printer!) They offer their own software for printing discs, so they expect people to use that, but it's quite clunky and really very basic consumer-level present-for-Grandma style capabilities..
No worries. If there is another template upload, I'll probably see it sooner than later.
I used InDesign.

Hi Bran,
Strange template. Never quite seen one like it. Can you also share the Avery Label part number?
I have attached the CDX7 file. Desing layer is unlocked, guides and non-printing "template" layer is locked.
Mike,
If you have a moment to do this again, I've uploaded what I think it the correct template, at http://wikisend.com/download/928510/Canon_printable_CDs.zip
If you can have a look, I'd be grateful.
Yeppers...attached.
Shut off the layers you don't need. I didn't replicate the ten bazillion guidelines the ID document had.
