CorelDraw X7 Graphics Suite users please answer this what is more important to you and are you willing to pay a small fee for it.
Improving current features so they work properly as best possible?
New features at the cost of leaving old features as they are?
New features and fixing the old ones?
Please which counts more to you?
Hello David; I think I want the Best sword I can get, I want it sharp in case I want to shave with it and strong enough to cut a tree down with. I Think Corel is doing a Fair job of keeping me so I can still make a living. And you know that no matter what they come up with not everyone is going to be happy. I was happy to be able to make signs with ver. 1 and things have been getting better all the time, as long as I can keep finding a work around to get the job done, at least semi fast I'm happy, but I would like things to work right and also keep New items Coming. [;)] And I guess I could look at Adobe again, but I think I'm using the Best graphics software out now, why drop back? If a fire is needed under Corel to make them do better I'll help carry the wood.
George
I agree, CorelDraw works well for me as a sign maker and in general graphics work, it has developed nicely with core technology support over the last three cycles. With that said my work flow uses all the core technologies but does not utilize more than about 30% of the features.
On this forum I see users utilizing the other aspects of the application with some dissatisfaction and when I investigate some of the complaints I see they are genuine.
I'm not lighting a fire under Corel I'm stimulating conversation on this public forum between the users of CorelDraw 7 so Corel can see what their client base wants.
I for one do not want a font generator that is not really a proper font creation tool, and for that matter any tool old or new that is incomplete. I want and I'm willing to pay to have a significant increase in the functionality of the current tools contained within X7 and a modest implementation of new features in the future.
I'm asking others to chime in because keeping Corel strong is in all of our best interests.
