X7 not loading after update 4

Windows 8.1, don't know if paint was affected, no custom work spaces. I dont think I have custom displays. I did notice in the task manager there was another program running called corel x7 fonts, or something. That seemed odd since the fonts are the same windows error.

I did uninstall and reinstall a second time. Everything is fine unless I do the update.

The one thing I have noticed is that the font library in X7 is configured differently even though it is showing as update 1.

i suggest u do a clean install after uninstalling everything

Did you try launching CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT?
Did you try launching using F8?

For the utility you saw in the task manager "Corel Font service" was it still running after the update 4 finished installing?
This utility is added in the update 4 that runs & vanishes during the update 4 installation to check the Windows fonts folder for installed fonts to generate the Font Database that is used by the Font list to allow for font list filtering.

Could you please check before uninstalling and let me know?

When I open the library to select a font it looks different. It does not look like the font library in the latest release but it also does not look as I remember it looking.

I did not try launching photo paint. I usually don't open photo paint unless i decide to edit a bitmap while using draw. Since draw would not open I did not open paint.

I did not try using F8

after the update was installed, the font service was running while X7 was trying to open/initialize

Already uninstalled

Decided to uninstall out some older versions of corel and give it another whirl. Removed X6 and X5 along with some bonus content stuff.

Reinstall the update and nothing loads.

tried paint and it will not load also
