  • Another option is to lay out appropriate content in CorelDRAW that you can then use to create your own Vector pattern fill, Bitmap pattern fill, or Two-color pattern fill "from scratch".

    As an example...

    1. The rectangle with the thin blue outline is 4" x 4". The corner nodes of that rectangle will be used for "Snap to Objects" when defining the pattern fill. I've put it on the Guides layer so that it will not be included in the pattern fill. The corner nodes are located at Document Grid points.

    2. The rectangle filled with light blue is there to provide a background for the hatch.

    3. The diagonal lines are located in such a way that they will match up when the pattern fill is tiled. Snapping to Document Grid was used to locate them correctly with respect to the 4" x 4" rectangle.

Here's a video where I use this to create a vector pattern fill from this content, then change some of the settings for the pattern fill (scaling & rotation). After any such change, the fill could have been saved as a "named" vector pattern fill to use later in other documents.
