There is a bug in Draw X7 when pasting tekst from Firefox version 44.0 (64-bit). Draw says there is nothing to paste. Works fine in other applications...
Draw X7 64, windows 10, all patches/upgrades installed. Same problem with all our 7 installations. This disrupts our web-based workflow copying text from all our weborders (14000+ this year). We now has to paste to notepad first, then new copy/paste to X7.

Hi, Myron, I tried your macro but for some reason, it doesn't work, it copy the Notepad's save window content
Areil, you may not have the same shortcuts set up. I made this to use when I need to copy text from one paragraph within cd and paste to another paragraph that has a different font and or color and I want the added text to take on those settings.
Look at this illustration. Create two lines of artistic text. Copy the text "bananas" and paste into the "Apples" line. Text doesn't drop in as red, bold nor same size as Apples. If you use the macro first then paste it will take on those attributes.
Sub CopyTest()
Call Shell("NOTEPAD.EXE", vbNormalFocus) 'opens notepad
SendKeys "^(v)" 'shortcut to paste
SendKeys "^(a)" 'shortcut to select all
SendKeys "^(c)" 'shortcut to copy
SendKeys "%{F4}" 'alt+F4 -shortcut to escape
SendKeys "{Right}" 'selects don't save
SendKeys "{ENTER}"
End Sub
Myron, I understand cleary how useful could be your macro. And, although I'm not a programmer, also I could understand each step of the macro. I believe it's wonderful, and it could be a very important help for most people.
but, unfortunately, it doesn't work here, I made a new macro, almost all works fine, it open Notepad, paste the text, but instead to close the Notepad, it copy the content of the "Do you want to save changes?" window as plain text. Maybe it could be a language problem (I use Spanish version of Windows 10) but I suppose that it shoudl work anyway, commands are the same.
