I just purchased Coreldraw X7 Home & School Edition. The one problem I'm running into is after I copy & paste a bitmap into a cdr document and then try to crop the bitmap object. Using the crop tool (the Crop bipmap on the pick toolbar is greyed out), I get the desired cropped image, however printing the document the original birmap appears (not cropped). I also noticed in the object properties of the cropped imaged, the original pixel dimensions are shown. What could I be doing wrong?
tmroz said:1. I did a copy/paste of a bitmap into Coreldraw. The object properties say it is a bitmap.
instead to copy/paste (which create an OLE object through Windows Clipboad) it will be better if you choose "import"
tmroz said:2. Next I chose 'convert to bitmap'.3. Then using the crop tool, I cropped a small portion and double clicked the selected area. I looks good on screen, but I notice that the object properties still say bitmapo but with the same pixel dimension as when I pasted the photo.
Maybe I didn't explain enoguh. You should convert to bitmap AFTER crop the image, in order to delete the hidden part of the image
