Help! Thumbnailer won't work in X7

I Need help guys & gals. I use the Thumbnailer from Oberonplace and have been for years. This is a macro I can't do without. When we upgraded to Corel x6 I was never able to get in contact with the arthor of the macro to see if he could fix it to work in x6. Someone on here fixed it for me and now I have the need for a x7 version. If this can't be fixed to work in x7 ....I'm up that "famous" creek without a paddle! I'm willing to pay someone if necessary or purchase a macro that does the same thing...whatever it takes.....I need this macro! can anybody help me?

It works for me in the 32-bit version of CDX7. are you by chance using the 64-bit version of CDX7? Many of the older macros will not work in CD X7 (or X8) without some sort of special tweak in the code by the creator.

Hi Patti...This computer is a custom built machine that has Corel x17 64 bit preinstalled. I still have my old system but that would require saving everything down to version x6 then exporting to an external drive then opening on the old system, printing from there. That's a big hassle and a lot of time involved that I don't have. Thanks for the help.

Don't confuse the CD versions with your Windows versions. You can run the 32-bit version of CDGS X7 on your 64-bit Windows machine.

You can install both the 64-bit and the 32-bit versions of CDGS X7 (or X8) on the same Windows system. If you purchased the DVD, the 32-bit version is on the disc. If you purchased a download version you can find the 32-bit version in the downloads section of your online account at http://www.coreldraw.com. If you have CDGS X8, the 32-bit choice is given during install.

Many of us are using the 32-bit version of CDGS because our macros and plugins are more important than any speed we would gain with the 64-bit version!

Patti, I have the original purchased DVD for Corel X7. I may have to install the 32 bit version to use that macro. In the mean time, I'll ask this question...Does anyone know if there is a macro available that will do the same thing as Oberon Thumbnailer? I'll be glad to purchase it if it will run in x7 64 bit mode. I desperate for that. I have numerous "tags" with different prices for stores that I need to print . They are 1.25" x 3" and are printed onto 18 up perforated card stock. Sometimes I have 75 or more tags of different prices that need to go to the same store so I would create the tags into a folder..point the macro to that folder, select my settings and go. Everything is placed on the page perfect and if there is more than will fit on one page, it will continue with the second page etc. until all tags are placed for printing. I will gladly pay for a macro that will do that. I just need to find one. Thanks

Patti, I installed the 32 bit version this morning and copied all my macros from my GMS folder into the 32 bit version GMS folder. I started the 32 bit version of Corel x7 but there are no macros showing up to run. I don't get it. Even the run macro dropdown is greyed out. The only thing showing is Macro Manager. If I oopen that there are no macros showing there either. I'm about to give up.

I have tested Thumbnailer_X6.gms on CD X7 64-bit and it worked same way as previous veriosn of Thumbnailer on X5.

Do you have installed VBA?

Mek I'm not sure what you're asking me? Is VBA something I need to download? I'm not at work now so I'll have to wait till Monday but I sure do need this macro to work one way or another. Sure would be nice if it was as simple as a download. Someone on here fixed it to work on x6 64 bit couple years ago for me because I never could get in touch with the writer of the macro.
