I had Zamzar convert a .jpg to a .bmp but when I tried to open the bitmap in Corel X7 I got an error message that said "invalid header". What does this mean and how do I open the bitmap?
I have to ask. Why would you bother to use Zamzar when CD and PP happily work with jpeg files? Just use the original jpg would be my thought.
I can open a .jpg figure but am not able to modify it. Is there a way to do that?
Sure, just open it in PhotoPaint. It's merely a raster image so any raster editor can work with it. Photopaint, Photoshop, Gimp etc... We just have to remember the limitations of raster images as compared to vector images. What are you hoping to do?
I went back and tried opening the bitmap again and this time didn't get an error. I need to change the text to match other figures and am able to do so by covering the previous text with a white box and then typing the text in the font of the other figs. Thanks!
