Hi everybody. I have 1 problem please help. I think there must be a macro to solve them. My job is to select objects and run macros. Macros will automatically group objects together without affecting their propertiesAs illustrated below. I want 4 objects that will form 4 independent groups
Can someone write a piece of code that can group them together
From what you have written so far, I don't know that I understand what you want to do.
Are you talking about "selection groups"? A way of defining collections of shapes, and then being able to select all of the shapes in one of those collections with one click? Without creating "Group" shapes in CorelDRAW?
CorelDraws grouping functions still, after all these years, leave a lot to be desired. Missing functionality includes.1. Add an object to an existing group2. Extract one or more objects from an existing group3. Combine any number of objects as a parent level group. i.e.all groups within the selection get ungrouped prior to grouping all.4. Flatten a group of groups to a single group.5. Multiple selection using the mouse of a number of objects within a group.
What a silly word GROUP is. Try saying it 20 times.....:)
It's not clear to me whether the OP is interested in real "Group shapes", or if they are looking for a way of being able to define collections of objects that can then be "one click" selected.
For the latter, CorelDRAW's ability to create selection groups can be very useful.
