So I want to do a simple gold-yellow-gold-yellow-gold fountain fill in X7.
In X6, I can just choose the Gold preset and change accordingly.
In X7, I'm lost.First, there is no more presets. Second, when I try to choose the node color, there is no standard colors with names to choose from (Gold in this case). If I try to pick the color (e.g. Yellow) from the color palette, the default color palette is PANTONE Solid Coated instead of CMYK.And there is no more Edge pad option.
That is ridiculously troublesome for a simple task.
Hello Michael; In Setup ( I do it on a blank page with nothing else open in Corel.) I set it up the way I want it, then go to Tools and select Tools/Save As Default close Corel and reopen. I hope this helps. George

Hi George, with a blank page, there is no access to the Color Palette as in the fill tool.
The Default Palette on the right of the Workspace is CMYK, no problem with that.
The problem is with the one IN the fill tool.

It's not quite OK because I primarily work in CMYK and rarely in PANTONE. It's a problem if I want to pick a defined color (e.g. Blue Purple, Navy Blue, etc.) instead of arbitrary color combination from the Color Viewer or Color Wheel.
Hello MT; "Hi George, with a blank page, there is no access to the Color Palette as in the fill tool. " I go to Options in Tools as below.

Hi George, CMYK is not in the list.
