Hi, could do with some help please. This is probably a very basic question, but we have recently upgraded from Technical Suite 2018 to 2019 and are now unable to use the Centre-Radius Circle Tool properly, we can select the function on the side bar but unlike the previous version there is no pop up window that allows you to type in the Radius value. Does anyone know if this feature is still available and if so where it could be found, whether we just need to tick/untick something?
Apologies for what is probably a very basic problem but it has been bothering us for ages!
Many thanks in advance!
Hello,
The radius control for the Center-Radius Circle Tool is available on the property bar with this tool selected.
Sharon
Hi Sharon,
Thank you for helping this, the problem is we just don't seem to have the radius control anywhere, I don't know if there is something we need to select in customization or a toolbar at all? We never had this problem with either X5 or 2018. Would you be able to send a screenshot at all please so we can see whereabouts it should be?
Many thanks again for your reply!
Cheers
I have highlighted the control you are looking for on the screenshot below.
With regards to the control observing the scale, I am looking into this now.
Hope this helps,
Thank you Sharon, really appreciate your help. We have tried using that control before but say we are doing a drawing at 1:200, the Control box says 10.0m if we click and draw a circle the overall diameter is 4000mm? That's where the frustration is, as we are unsure if there is a way of changing that or if there should be a separate feature somewhere else?
chris bear, I have confirmed the issue with the control not observing the drawing scale, and unfortunately have not been able to find workaround for you.I have reported this to the CorelDRAW Technical Suite team, and will now record it in our internal issue tracking database.Sharon
thank you so much for taking time to help on this, at least its a bit reassuring to know we weren't just being really stupid or missing something obvious.
