Hi All,
So I've been struggling with the object manager in Draw. Every time I move an object from one layer to another, or copy and past anything in the object manger, ALL the layers automatically expand! This is very frustrating to me and really kills my workflow. I tried unchecking the "Expand to show selection" as well as "Edit across Layers" etc, no luck. Any suggestions to prevent this? This also happens when importing anything into any layer!!

Anyone else thinks this is a pain to work with? I'm coming from Adobe Illustrator, and in my opinion, the way it handles layers and objects is far superior to CorelDraw.
There is an option to show "Current page, layers only" at the top of the object manager, but why is there no option to include objects too?
Where can I drop a suggestion to the CorelDraw team? Is there an official page dedicated to user requests? Thanks all...
No, I vote to leave it as is. Coming from adobe is the problem. Overuse of layers. You do know you can keep all shapes on 1 layer and still stack the shapes. I prefer "Current page, and layers only" Why do need to see them in two places (on screen and in the Object Manager)? On screen is enough. Need to select a particular shape, click on it not the list from the manager.
Yeah, try hiding one of those shapes. For example, let's say you have both graphics and text in an object and you want to hide the text? You have to dig into the sub menus then hide it... not practical for me....Also, what benefit do you get when all the layers expand??
