I'm a CorelDraw user since version 3, I have just installed X4 on a fresh new Vista (Dell notebok D830 with Intel Graphics, Aero disabled).
I'm very disappointed by X4, it keep crashing for many resons:
1) It crashes sometimes if you past text from Word (2007)
2) It crashes sometime if you print
3) It chashes sometime if you double click on a guide line
4) Other i do not remember, but in a full day work I have to reboot not less than 5 times.
When it crashes Window does, so there is nothing I can do then hard-reboot the computer.
I never had problems with X3 SP2 (same windows same computer).
The question are: why do we have to wait for SP1 to have a decent stability? Should I switch back to X3 and ask refound for X4 -or better- should I switch to Adobe software?
Sincerely I think X4 is a piece of crap.
A very upset Corel customer.
P.S. CorelPaint X4 works like a charme.
Me, personally, I'd Dump VISTA, (since it's the REAL piece of crap) and go with XP. Not making a joke, just stating the facts. I have been an IT professional for 20+ years, and have never seen a more troublesome OS than Vista.

Just wait until you get your hands on Win 7
I had my share of problems with Vista and Coreldraw X4, mostly relating to fonts. Corel recommends installing all fonts in the Vista windows/fonts folder instead of using font navigator.
I've had some problems with Adobe Acrobat 8+ giving me problems with "publish to pdf" after receiving Adobe updates, which also created problems loading X4 (blank screen, crashes, previously saved files not opening properly, etc.)
Experience has taught me to first reinstall all fonts to windows/fonts folder whenever I have a problem with X4, like the problems I mentioned.
