My color palettes in CorelDRAW X4 are all dull looking. When I import a bright colored graphic, the color comes out looking muted. How can I fix this issue? Thank you in advance!!!
The big question is if you are using RGB or CMYK images, and if you are using RGB or CMYK color profile. For example, if you are using a CMYK profile and import a RGB image, the color will loose bright. But if you need to use it for print, yo must use CMYK
Thank you for responding! :) I want the images to be for print, but I would hope that the colors would look the same or similar as what they will look when they print out. I guess it doesn't work like that?
Not exactly the same, since RGB colors are more brilliant, with 16.800.000 colors and CMYK only has 64.000 colors, Btw you can have very good results, using a good calibration and if you apply the ICC profile (the color profile) on your job, when convert to bitma, print or export
Thank you both for responding. It seems like no matter what I do the colors do not display correctly. It is frustrating to my brain! Red looks dark orange, black is dark gray, etc. ???? It hasn't always been this way, so I guess I did something to it the other day, I just have no idea what that could be. At least before I could copy/paste an image with the colors I wanted into CDX4 and use them, now I can't even do that, when I paste the colors change.
