I have done some work. Saved it as a .cdr file. Came back later on and clicked on "open file", the windows box pops up showing the 'thumbnails of the previously saved work'.
So I click on one as usual, it loads up. But the workspace is blank. Where has it gone. ARgghhh!!!!!1
If I export the blank workspace, it will save as a jpg etc and the image is still there. I just can not see it in the workspace at all so I can no longer edit the work.
What is going on here?

Hello apples; When you DRAW your First line in a drawing, go to the menu and click on FILE then SAVE AS and save the file giving it A name, then as you work on your drawing ( ever so often ) hit the Ctri+s and that will save a copy of the drawing in the name you gave it in the same place and make you a copy of the last saved file. A lot of us that have been using Corel for a while do this so you have the latest of the drawing without losing much if the computer quites.

I would try t look at Object Manager (Tools-Object Manager) and check if layer is "Show" or "Hide" (symbol of opened or closed eye beside the layer name)
Sounds like your artwork is off the page. Try Ctrl+A (Select All) then Ctrl+G (Group) then push the P key (Centres on Page)
