That's relative to the quality of the image. If the original image has high resolution, the result will be good. btw usually most of the MS Word files use low resoluton images.
Another alternative to "copy/paste" is to create a PDF from MS Word, then open the PDF with CorelDRAW

If it is a DOCX file you can rename the extension to ZIP to get at the contents of the Word file. Same as Corel!
