Hi all, I do a couple of books a month, the are an A4 size between 32 and 40 pages printing on a Fuji Zerox colour J75 it has a book making module inbuilt to it. When I try and print using the layout presets from corel just keeps failing on me. First is tells me the printer does not support duplexing even though it does. The trouble is sometimes it works, but more often it crashes. What I have to do is create it in Corel, export it to PDF then place it into Indesign to print my book. I feel the problem is that that Corel and my printer are just not talking to each other. Has any body else had the problem and found a way to fix it, it would save me a lot of time thanks. On the up side I do like the latest version, and apart from some issues with the printing preferences it is all good.
Thanks for reading this.
You can create in Corel, then create PDF file. Then send PDF to printer and use built-in a book making module.

I use the booklet printing option witk Xerox and Minolta printers,so I could confirm that it's ot a program failure. And I don't believe it was a problem of the printer neither. The first point is to know what settings are you using on the document and when you send to the printer. The second point is to remember that you couldn't use the two option for print booklet (the feature of the program and the feature of the printer drive) at the same tima. Or use one or use other, but not both at the same time. if you use the option of the printer, you should infividual pages, then compose when print or, If you use the feature of the progra, you should print as single pages.
What I do is:
if it works fine for you, it's OK. Each of us could use the program that know better or the option that give the best results. Anyway, I suggest you to practice a little more the booklet options of CorelDRAW, it's really simple and fast. For example, I attach a sample file, please open it and go to Print Preview and see the result. There's no need to print it, but if you want to do it, just sent to print as normal file, and only choose "double side" and "landscape" on your printersample.cdr
