We need a [Select None] or [Deselect All]. We used to have that...
b@man said:Yes sir, doesn't do it. Si when I use the Freehand drawing tool and have to go back to the Pick tool and then click anywhere. Esc used to work too, but not now. I have the Freehand Tool on a hot key. It would be convenient to have Deselect All on a hot key and a mouse button. Thanks for the reply.
if you're using freehand tool, press Spacebar, then Esc
This seems to work for me as a macro:
Sub deselect_all()ActiveSelectionRange.RemoveFromSelectionEnd Sub
I assigned the hot key "D" to that (stealing it from the "graph paper" tool).
Someone who knows more about VBA and CorelDraw than I do can inform me if there's a better way to do it than I show above.
OK, what I wrote initially still leaves the status bar indicating the selection after it has been deselected.
This instead:
Sub deselect_all()ActiveSelectionRange.RemoveFromSelectionApplication.RefreshEnd Sub
