X8 locks up when attempt to save

I recently installed CorelDRAW X8 on a Dell at home. Every time I attempt to "Save" or "Save As" Corel locks up. Regardless of where I click I only get a ding - nothing responds. The only way out is Task Manager / End Task. I can export to PDF, IF I don't make the mistake of reflexively hitting "Save." The program is not even offering the unsaved (unsaveable) file when I reopen.

I have CorelDRAW X8 64-Bit Version 18.1.0.661 on Windows 10 Home, Version 1511, Build 10586.494. No Wacom. Running dual CPU with 4GB Physical Memory.

Please send patch.

delete temp files and try again.
To create a delete temp file shortcut just open notepad and copy/paste the text you see in between the lines below. Hit save, choose "All Files" in the type dropdown, name the file and add .bat to the end. Save it to the desktop. When corel crashes just run that file and see if it gets you back in business.

Unfortunately, doesn't work for me. X8 ran great for the first week or so through some pretty complex files and PDF exports. Today it decided to start crashing, so luckily I still have X6 installed or I'd be seriously screwed with clients breathing down my back as it is.

Sorry that doesn't work, at least on Windows 10. Thought I'd try to find a solution here in the forums before bugging support about it but it doesn't seem they're monitoring the forums all that much unfortunately.

The program works for a few saves then I changed where I wanted the file saved and it locked up. During restart I held F8 resetting the program and I can get another save or two before it locks. I need to shut it down to escape the program using the Task Manager. Luckily it has saved prior to shutting down.. Seems like an awful way to manage a save.. using Corel 6 in Windows 10 worked, after a save it shrunk the window and all of the fonts became smaller, but it continued to work..

Same problem. Crash after crash, useless piece of software. Switching back to adobe at least there one works fine no crashes. Corel is just ignoring the problem and not doing anything about it.
