Hi
Does anyone know if Corel have any plans to develope an app for the android tablet, I use Corel X4 on my main computer. It would be great to be able to use it on the go on my tablet.
Thanks Gaz
I have both, an iPad and an Android tablet, but I do not expect to see the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite on either one of them, as the ROI (Return On Investment) of the effort to port the software to those platforms would have negative numbers. i.e.: it would probably cost more to port the software than Corel would make on the sales of said software. The tablets do fall in the same category as having the CGS available on a MAC in the native application format for the Apple O/S, too expensive to convert over to a new platform.
On the other hand, a Microsoft Tablet, the newer one with all of the bells and whistles, could run the current CGS offerings without any intermediate application between the O/S and the graphics suite. It would run as it does on a desktop or a laptop.
Install Team Viewer on your tablet. That way you can control your computer and programs through the interface.
Just a thought.

Hi.
Microsoft has tablet computers that will run it. Trade in your old Android and maybe go with a Surface Pro.

Just bought an old ASUS ep121 for my son. I use an old school clamshell style tablet PC myself. These both have 12" screens but the ASUS is probably the best "slate" style tablet made so far for drawing because even if it doesn't have the latest specs, it has a bigger screen than any more modern tablet that includes a stylus.
