Hello,
I am looking for a script or macro to color selected objects with 3-10 colors randomly. Does it exist?
I have not tested it, but I don't know of a reason it would not work with 2023.
I would like to select a large group of objects (say dots or abstract shapes or flowers and whatnots) and color them in random different colors. For example, if there a 100 dots and I have say 10 colors, I would select those 10 colors and color 100 dots randomly with this 10 colors so they spread evenly among these 100 dots.
Something similar to this: www.youtube.com/watch
Thank you very much.
Found it under Windows > Bonus630 Dockers > Color Spread. Also I figured out color replacement part, I don't remember how to use it but when I select all objects and then Colors in Shapes, it colors it randomly but not in colors I want. I used to just open one palette and it would color with colors of that palette. How do I change color with a palette I want?
Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBrBPI49Ew4&t=128s
Thank you.
Perhaps of interest: this inexpensive John-Dan Key’s Random Macro does what you seek - randomly coloring shapes from a chosen palette (as one of it's various features)...http://macromonster.com/product/john-dan-keys-random-macro/ You'll just need to have the palette open for it to appear in the picklist.
