I received an email telling me that CorelDraw 2023 is available for subscribers. I downloaded the 62,773K file, tired to install it, but it keeps giving me this error (see attached screen grab).
I had the same problem. I finally understood that this updated version can only be installed with a licence of the new subscription program. If you have the old update program protection it seems impossible to install it.
Can you expand on that? What does that mean?
Before the standard 365-day subscription to CorelDRAW there was an Update Protection Program. The Update Protection Program was stopped by Corel with CorelDraw 2022. So I noticed you can apply the last upgrade only if you are a subscriber of the standard 365-day subscription.
More information about the former "Upgrade Protection Program" can be found on this page.
The CorelDRAW Graphics Suite March 2023 Subscriber Update is available exclusively to subscribers of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. Customers with an active subscription can apply the March 2023 Subscriber Update (24.3) as an update patch to their existing installations of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite with the latest version (24.2.1).
More information about the March 2023 Subscriber Update and release notes can be found here.
Customers who were on the "Upgrade Protection Program" have received messages about the end of that program, and how it is transitioned into subscription a year ago (around March 8, 2022).
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2022 has been provided to customers with an active Upgrade Protection at that time, with a serial number that entitles for permanent use of that version. The March 2023 Subscriber Update cannot be applied to those installations.
I have 'emailed' with support. Apparently both of my subscription and my employees subscription got moved to my account so now I have 2 licenses with the same log in. I'm trying to get them to split that back out.
HOWEVER, they told me that I can log in to my corel account and get my 365 subscription serial number, and then update my coreldraw installation under tools>options>global> User ID, Edit Credentials. Then close it, open it and log back in. Hopefully that works when I get my license issue figured out.
I had an issue with licensing awhile back and that made me check mine before I attempted to update and I'm very happy I did.
