Powerclip contents disappearing.

We have no idea your knowledge level so don't get mad if we/I ask questions.

Are you certain they're gone? Have you gone into the powerclip to see all contents? Sometimes a powerclip is inadvertently locked and by doing so the contents will stay in place and just the "container" will move. This is only 1 scenario there may be other ideas to why it's happening.

Apologies for the late reply - I've been on leave.

I've been using CorelDraw since 1996 as my primary vector design software on a daily basis, so I'm very familiar with its workings. The content indeed vanishes, with no trace in sight. Sometimes it just shows up as a blank, empty powerclip, after switching pages or reopening the file. 

I can also confirm the the "Lock Contents to Powerclip" element is checked.

The white elements below, for instance, contained images. Opening the file today, looked like this:
