Try to export a simple jpg, and the pop up window now sits like this for over an hour doing nothing.
I can not do ANY resizing or manipulation that typically is possible. See right side of image....
What is the physical dimension of the CDR object and desired resolution?
What are your system specifications?
At this point ... it doesnt matter, ....
I click export, name it, then pop up window opens "Export to JPEG" NEVER giving me a chance to input anything.
This software is becoming a waste.
If the graphic size is large and the resolution too high it may exceed the capabilities of your system.
As I stated in the original question, I don't have even choice to choose resolution of the selection.
So, I guess were gonna throw mud and see what sticks.... how about a real answer?
No where near capabilities.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF 3.20 GHz with 64 RAM with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super.
I Run 3d CAD off another PC just like it all day long.
The real answer is that your original description is so incomplete that trouble shooting is impossible. That in itself is an indication of possible user issues.
What version of Windows, Pro or home? I've not tested any Windows 11 on my systems.
I'd try these things, turn off the filter dialog, the filter dialog looks at the default document resolution and begins processing calculations based on that and the physical dimensions of the object. If you're processing a 18" x 12" graphic and your document default resolution is 300 DPI it may tax your system using the export dialog. It is slower than convert to bitmap. With the dialog turned off it should save as a JPG with a flat bounding box.
Draw a box around the graphic and remove any outline, select all objects and convert to a bitmap of the type and resolution desired and see how that works. You can save or edit bitmap and send to Photo-PAINT and save as. This will resolve any flat bounding box issues.
AND - Your NOT listening to the problem. your stuck on size and resolution. If you actually listen to the issue, there IS NO OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE ANY SIZE OR RESOLUTION!
None.
It is as if the pop up box never loads the right hand side to choose ANY THING. Even after sitting over night.
Pay attention to the original pic. Look on the right. There is NO settings, advanced, or transformation PRIOR to any export.
So how am I to even choose size or resolution when it doesnt even make it that far???????
If you dont know, then say you dont know.
PS, It would be windows 11 64bit Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631
Of course no one knows, like a typical user you don't give enough information to troubleshoot. I've even had to assume that you're using CorelDRAW 2024 subscription.
READ WHAT I WROTE ABOVE!
When you select the JPG export filter (without you selecting anything else) CorelDRAW automatically starts to process the command based on the document default resolution and the physical dimensions of the graphic. You don't have to choose anything, the controls in the export dialogs are there if you want to change from the design size and document resolution. This process once started DOMINATES system resources.
If you export to JPG (turning of the export dialog) we can test the export vecter to raster conversion separately from the dialog. I even went the extra Mike to warn you of the bounding box issuel
The instructions I gave you would determine if the problem is with the vector to raster conversion or the combination of the conversion process and the advanced export dialog.
If the conversion process works then we can proceed to work on a process to test the export dialog. If the conversion does not work then you have a bigger issue.
Troubleshooting requires testing of how the program works. Unfortunately working with someone who doesn't understand how the program works produces responses like yours.
It is a set of text that is not changed to curves. No raster, no nothing. I do understand how the program works and something is wrong in the background process.
Steps to recreate issue.... Highlight text, export, name the export file, (selection only), click export button, once dialog opens, there is NO settings, NO ok, NO cancel, no nothing. ONLY CHOICE IS TO X OUT. It is a dead end.
****** Meanwhile, I contacted Real Corel Support, once I forwarded WinAudit and Msinfo32, there is a bug with their software and an NVIDIA latest update. Im waiting to hear back for a fix. This also creates a random crash at times and the tech thinks they are related.
Does your NVidia card have a studio driver? Is this driver issue related to your export issue?
Myron showed you a screen capture of the checkbox that allows to turn off the export dialog, this is the third time I'm explaining this to you. Turn the export dialog off and see it it exports.
BTW is it really CorelDRAW 2023? God knows on this fotm it means nothing where you post.
