Good evening,
Today, to save space, I set my Windows 11 taskbar to not show the names of open apps, and to group them. All of my other Apps honor this. Corel Photo Paint and Draw 2024 do not. Instead of using the existing taskbar icon, they create a new one. This is annoying on multiple levels. Is there any way around this?In the attached image, the original icons are on the left, and the two icons that happened when I launched the apps are on the right. What SHOULD have happened is what you see in the second image with three Windows Office 365 Apps, which, when the app was launched, it simply underlined the original app icon instead of creating a new one like Corel does.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Dave
I'd get over it, you're young yet. Corel might fix this some year. My Spyer Pro Elite sometimes does not load the custom display profile and I have to manually load it after a Windows update it will work properly for maybe 6 months. Then after another Windows update it stops working again.
It worked fine for the first 6 months, then came a Windows update.
