Dear all,
Corel x7.
I export a circle with a diameter of 50 mm.
I use an online converter DXF to SVG (like convertio.co...etc)
I import on Corel the SVG file, my circle is taller with exactly 295.291 mm.
Could you me help with my scale issue, I have hundreds of 2D shapes in DXF to convert in SVG
Thank you !
why use a converter? Corel can handle both svg and dxf. I'm not sure exactly what your dilemma is.
Hello,
I have hundreds of 2D shapes in DXF. I want to convert them directly in SVG with a soft or with an online converter. When I convert just one, I have an issue scale...
So in Corelx7 I draw an circle shape (up in my last post), export in DXF and convert in SVG. Result : I have issue scale
So, I'm asking why, if you export in DXF and you want only to convert in SVG (without Corel) I have this scale issue ? I tried to modify the unit but I have the same result.
can you provide the dxf for testing purposes?
Import the dxf to corel then export out as svg using corel.
The conversion is okay DXF to SVG with Corel Draw. But using " convertio " or others online converter the size/scale change, my circle shape is bigger. So I send a demand to convetio directly.
I tried to insert a file here but it doesn't work. Anyway, you can test, draw a circle shape, export in DXF and try to convert it as SVG with convertio.
I'm still not following. From corelDRAW you export as DXF then use "convertio" to convert to SVG? Why not just export as SVG directly from Corel?
A synthesis from my last posts :
My suppliers give me hundreds of shapes in 2D in DXF (shapes are more or less circle, rectangular but not in 3D). I have to convert them in SVG.
For one file it's okay, I can use Corel, as you said, import in DXF and export in SVG. But I have to do this action automatically.
When I use a converter I have scale issues.
Do you know how to convert automatically with Corel? I mean selected more than 10 files, import them in DXF, analysing them and finally export them in SVG ?
Today, online converter can do that but I have size / scale issue.
Are you still not following ?
