I am going to be purchasing CorelDraw for a little t-shirt business. Does anyone have a recommendation for a desktop PC? I know the specs I need for storage and such, just looking for opinions.
Great information, Thank you!
wow, what a lot of anti-AMD sentiment based on nothing more than two personal experiences.
Sorry, but this is not a proper recommendation for a Desktop PC and not a proper answer to the op.
Look at the basic computing requirements recommended by Corel for the particular software and try to improve on all numbers when choosing a PC.
Thats my recommendation.
I don't see anywhere, in Corel's recommendation, to use a specific brand of computer components.
Actuall I have about 20 pages of notes documenting issues with users with AMD devices and a few pages with Xeonprocessors. I keep notes.
I have a working AMD computer successfully running Corel Graphics Suite 2018 and don't need to keep notes ...or tell anyone they MUST use the same products as me.
I correct my earlier statement....states right on the Corel packaging (2018):
(minimum) System Requirements Intel Core i3/i5/i7 OR AMD Athlon 64.
oh...and 2Gb RAM
So apparently Corel finds AMD to be acceptable...and 2Gb RAM is the recommended miminum.
Start with those specs when looking for a PC.
Any improvement to Graphics Card should also be considered, but a system that can deliver a minimum 1280x720p resolution (at 92dpi) is required.
