Transitioning from Photoshop to Corledraw

Greetings,

Our team in Germany has recently switched to CorelDraw, but our offshore unit in the US has many documents in the psd format. It's not very complex stuff, mostly banners with flowers and/or bouquets with some text. Does anyone have any experience with opening psd in CorelDraw? Is it even doable? Would basic layers be maintained?

Thank you for any guide you may have.

  • CorelDRAW and Photoshop are not the same type of graphics application. CorelDRAW is primarily a vector-based graphics application while Photoshop is used to edit pixel-based graphics. Corel PhotoPaint is included in the CorelDRAW Graphics suite. It has many pixel image editing functions similar to those in Photoshop. But there are areas where those two applications do not overlap in terms of functions and the way the interface is designed.
