text effects in coreldraw

Those type of text effects are best done in a photo editing program, Photoshop OR Photopaint. Considering your lack of knowledge in using these types of programs I think you will find it much easier to create very fancy text effects in Photoshop using "layer Styles".You don't have to be good in Photoshop to use layer styles, it does it for you.

Seems you have access to Photoshop so open a new psd (300dpi for printing) with transparent background, type anything, double click on the blue layer to the right of the text on that layer and the layer styles box opens. Select styles (on top) and click on any preset and watch what happens to your text.If you look below the styles you will see that with a check box you can add shadows, bevels, etc. and then adjust with slide bars

You can do this in Photopaint manually or with macros (great ones here http://macromonster.com/ ) as Photopaint lacks a layer styles type of feature.

Hello Ravi; If it can be done in other graphics programs it can be done in Corel, If you would have a hard time making it in one program you would probably have trouble in all of them. The main thing is to Learn the tools and how to use them well. You are only limited to what your minds eye can see and how well you can make what it sees. Most of the time it takes years to learn to draw graphics well. The thing to do is start drawing and if there is something you need help with come here and ask, there are some of the BEST in the business that come here to help people.

I would do a few of those types of effects/treatments in CD or another drawing application.

For instance, I would do this cut-paper treatment in a vector illustration application. XDP in this case, but in CD it is the same process. It's just gradients and a second, partial shape to create the highlight.
