Is there a to create fancy arrows? ...possibly with the Artistic Media Tool and changing the end of the line to an arrowhead?
Yes. But not without drawbacks. Draw the 2 arrow elements. Green arrow with white outline, same arrow changed to gray & no outline. Select all, grab the artistic media tool and hit the save icon, name it and bam! You'll have to break the arrow apart to change the colors. Else make several different ones
Once again you are the Answer Man! I can make the shadows if I want, but your procedure was the trick I needed; it allows me to make any color, fancy, curly, shape, or thickness arrow I want. Thank you!!
